Jordi, thank you for carving out the time to view selected samples of my work.

First, a little about me.

I'm an award-winning creative leader with 10+ years directing design, video, motion, and campaign work across consumer and brand marketing. I lead teams of designers and motion artists, turning strategy into visual storytelling that speaks with audiences and drives action.

Today I run global brand video and motion at Smartsheet, a Fortune 500 SaaS company, leading a team across the US, EMEA, and APJ. Before that, I owned my own studio in Bellevue — design, photography, and motion — carrying consumer campaigns for AMEX Shop Small, Disney, Chipotle, and Marriott Bonvoy from awareness to conversion. Running my own shop taught me the thing I still build everywhere I go: the systems, partnerships, and pipelines that produce scroll-stopping work at scale.

Tenets I operate by

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

The customer is my north star.

Cliche? Yes. Apt? Absolutely. Meet the customer where they are. Address their concerns and serve it up in the most creative way that drives action.

    Make it ownable. Always.

If you remove the logo: do the language and visuals still carry the brand recognizably? Build creative that influences at-a-glance, within the span of a scroll.

    Develop my team into owners.

Challenge my team to get uncomfortable and develop their POV. Make them owners, because owners punch above their weight.

    Recognition and advocacy.

Mentorship and coaching are just the start. My team  does its best when wins are recognized, stumbles become learning, and I go to bat for them in the rooms they’re not in.

  • Build systems for scale and speed.

"Cost. Speed. Quality. Pick two." is the accepted wisdom. It only holds when an organization lacks the systems and processes to scale with demand.

Selected works

What I’m hearing in the job description is that there are two brands under one team. Mint and Ultra each need a visual identity that maintain their integrity at high output, and volume is where creative standards begin to nosedive. You’re looking for a creative director who protects the bar at speed, grows the designers and animators holding it, and partners with copy so tightly the work reads as one voice. Someone who can take a conversation, not a brief, and walk back in with an idea leadership wants to buy.

Where I plan to seek clarity

  • High volume output

What does "high-volume" actually look like in numbers, and where's the current bottleneck?

  • The team

How big is the design and animation team, and where are its gaps?

  • The work

The posting emphasizes work that speaks with customers, not at them. What's a piece the team made recently that you felt nailed that?

  • Success metrics

What would make the first 90 days a clear win from your perspective?
