Helping Small Businesses Recover (2021)

During the pandemic, consumer shopping habits shifted away from small businesses. To rekindle support for these businesses in a post-pandemic world, we facilitated a collaboration between Pinterest and American Express, launching a virtual pop-up tailored to emerging post-pandemic needs. This pop-up spotlighted categories like travel accessories, fashion, and beauty products.

I oversaw the provision of over 100 assets, ensuring seamless support for the 20+ merchants as they catered to Pinterest users transitioning into this new phase of post-pandemic life.

Results

Pinterest searches for “how to support small businesses quote” increased by 50% as shoppers became conscious of the impact of the pandemic on small retailers.

Shop Small merchants reported an increase in business revenues by 29% YOY from 2021-2022.
